BEATLES ASHRAM

A “Beatles Ashram" is one of the famous tourist destinations in Rishikesh Uttarakhand. It is one of the oldest places which was abandoned in the 90s and hand over to the forest department. In 2015 Beatles Ashram opened for tourists as a tourist place. Beatles Ashram is also known as “Chaurasia kutia”. Beatles Ashram is a very beautiful and peaceful place to visit. It is said that the Beatles Meditate and compose songs there in the ashram. Every part of this ashram has its originality and uniqueness. The Aarti at Triveni Ghat in the evening is known as ”Maha Ganga Aarti” which is for the purity and sacredness of “Ganga River”. Attend This Ganga Aarti is one of the best things you can do in Rishikesh. All the negativity and stress will surely be discharged from your inner soul and you will feel inner peace. Their people bought Flowers, Diya’s to float on Ganga and pray for their well-being, and wish for good health. People can offer food to fishes after Aarti for good luck also. It is said that offering food to fishes is very Auspicious. The timing of Ganga Aarti is around 6:00-7:00 pm.

GOA BEACH RISHIKESH

A beautiful place to visit when you exploring Rishikesh is “Goa Beach”. One of the relaxing places where people do yoga, sit and relax. Many people found goa beach attractive so they do a photoshoot, people do wedding photoshoots also. “Ganga River” afloat rigorously is very soothing at goa beach. Kunjapuri Temple Himalaya

“Kunjapuri Devi Temple” is one of the sacred temples in the Hindu religion. There are “52 Shaktipeeth” in Uttarakhand and Kunjapuri Devi temple is one of them which is located in heights of 1676 meters of hills near Rishikesh. This temple has its importance it is said that "Mata Sati’s Burned Chest" was fallen here in Kunjapuri Devi Temple. Kunjapuri Devi Temple is 26.5kms far from the Rishikesh bus stand. This temple has a beautiful structure and a mountain view, from this temple-mountain peaks are visibly covered with snow. This temple is a beautiful and holy place to visit in Rishikesh Uttarakhand.

Lakshman Jhula

“Lakshman Jhula” is one of the centers of attraction to the tourist who visit Rishikesh Uttarakhand. Lakshman Jhula is 450 feet long and 70 feet above the River Ganga. It is said that "Lord Rama" and his brother "Lakshman" cross the Ganga River through the same place where Lakshman Jhula is located. Lakshman Jhula is connecting two villages one is "Tapovan Tehri Garhwal" to "Jonk Pauri Garhwal". Lakshman Jhula is a place where people like to spend their time and people find it attractive for clicking photos. NEELKANTH MAHADEV TEMPLE

“Neelkanth Mahadev Temple” is one of the most auspicious temples of Neelkanth as an aspect of "Lord Shiva". It is said that during “Samudra Manthan” Lord Shiva Consumes Poison when Gods and Demons churned the ocean for the Amrit and the throat of Lord Shiva turned blue, all this happened where Neelkanth is situated. That’s the Reason Lord Shiva is known as Neelkanth. This architect of the Neelkanth temple is Influence by the "Dravidian style". This temple is 32 km away from Rishikesh situated adjacent to the “Nar Narayana" Mountains. You can hire a cab or a bus from Ram Jhula it will drop you straight to the temple. It is a must-visit the place in Rishikesh Uttarakhand.

PATNA WATERFALL

“Patna Waterfall” is must visit place in Rishikesh which is named after a village “Patna” situated nearby. Patna waterfall is a fully satisfying place for nature lovers. This place is 6.5 km away from Lakshman Jhula. It is a 1.5 km trek from "Rajaji forest" to the waterfall and a 5 km trek from Lakshman Jhula. Trek is also very beautiful, if people are adventurous, they will definitely like this place. In monsoon season Patna waterfall looks livelier and more surrounded by greenery. It is very beautiful and pleasant to watch such amazing weather and location.

RAFTING

"Rafting" is one of the most adventurous activities people found fun in Rishikesh Uttarakhand. Rafting in ”Ganga River” is rejuvenating in itself. There are different parts from where rafting starts. It can be 8 km, 16 km, or any. An expert will be there with you through your whole rafting. TRIVENI GHAT

“Triveni Ghat” the most popular place to visit in Rishikesh Uttarakhand. It is situated near the “Banks of Gangas” and it is mostly crowded with the devotee. People come to Triveni Ghat for the veneration of the Ganga River. Triveni Ghat has a mythological story behind it, it is said that when “Lord Krishna” got hurt by a hunter Jara’s arrow then he visited Triveni Ghat. If you visit Triveni Ghat you can visit “Laxminarayan Temple” and “Gita Temple”. Triveni Ghat has a market also, you can find different items there in the market like gems, precious stones, different styles of clothes, traditional clothes. There are some street foods available near Triveni Ghat, you can enjoy different “Taste of Rishikesh”.

VASHISTHA CAVE

“Vashistha Cave” is located on Badrinath road 25 km from Rishikesh. This cave is managed by "Swami Purushottamananda" society. It is a "Hindu Mythological place". It is said that Sage Vashistha meditated in this cave for years. After time passes an ashram was built near the Vashistha cave and then swami Purushottamanand decided to take care of that cave and now it’s under the care of Swami Purushottamananda’s society. It is a beautiful place to visit, it is a long dark cave where 10-15 minutes of Meditation can rejuvenate your mind. You can visit there from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm or 4:00 pm. To visit Vashistha Cave you can take a bus or taxi from the Rishikesh bus stand.
